Frequenty Asked Questions
What is your average grant? How much should we ask for?
Our average grant is $5,000. For first time grant applicants, we recommend asking for between $2,500 and $7,500. You may also ask for less than $2,500.
What documents are required? Do you need a budget? What is the difference between Request and Organization Documents?
Please include a budget for requests of $10,000 or more. No other documents are required. Read our Application Guidelines for information about Request or Organization documents.

When will we hear back with a decision? When should we apply?
We meet once each quarter where we review the applications and make a decision so a reply may take up to 3 to 4 months.
Can we apply through a 501(c)(3) fiscal sponsor?
Yes

How often may we apply?
You may apply once per calendar year.

Do you fund general operating expenses, salaries, office supplies?
Due to the small amount for our grants we prefer the money go towards the project.

If we have been approved for a grant may we apply again?
You may apply again after one year but a report on how the funds for the previous grant were used must be included.
